These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Locate People Now (“the Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

The Service lets people create a profile, share a safety status and location, post messages, join emergency events, and search for others who have chosen to share. It is provided free of charge.

No warranty and availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any location, status, message, or report is accurate or up to date. Delivery and accuracy depend on networks, devices, and third parties beyond our control.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and do not impersonate anyone else.
• Only report a status about another person in good faith.
• Do not use the Service to harass, endanger, defraud, or harm others, or for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not post content that is false, abusive, or that you do not have the right to share.

Public content

When you enable public sharing, the information you provide (name, status, location, and messages) may be visible to anyone. Do not share sensitive information you do not want to be public. You are responsible for the content you post.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your username and password secure. Profiles created without an email address cannot be recovered if you lose your password.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate these Terms or that we believe are harmful, false, or unlawful.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including reliance on any location, status, message, or report.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
